“The Bubble” – Embracing Vulnerability

The Bubble is a 36 x 24-inch acrylic on canvas, and marks the first piece in my portrait series exploring abstract figuration in my signature style. This work laid the foundation for a body of art that blends bold color, surreal playfulness, and emotional honesty.

The bubble symbolizes humor and the hidden joys of life, a reminder not to take things too seriously. In contrast, the tear reflects an underlying sadness, a motif carried throughout my work. Together, they express the truth that we carry all our emotions with us: joy, struggle, resilience, and hope.

This painting is about owning your story. To wear the trials and tribulations of life with confidence, to honor the past, and to love yourself fully for who you are. The Bubble invites you to reconnect with childlike wonder and the joy that still lives inside us all.

Signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, this one-of-a-kind piece is shipped safely rolled in a tube (without the frame) for protection. Stretching can be done by any professional framer or art store, with my personal assistance if needed.
